Kosovo allocates 12 million euros for agriculture despite the Covid-19 crisis.

This is the figure published by former Minister of Agriculture Edmond Panariti.

Through a Facebook post, Panariti states that: “This measure is added to the Kosovar subsidies for agriculture, which for this year are almost three times higher than in our country, especially for livestock and beekeeping.”

Full post:

Kosovo 12 million euros for Agriculture during the pandemic, while in our country zero support.

Yesterday, the government of Kosovo delivered a full 12 million euros for direct support of Agriculture there. This was the part that was allocated to Agriculture from the 87 million euro package to support the economy and the needy during the pandemic.

This is responsibility and this is patriotism.

Because this measure is added to the Kosovar subsidies for agriculture, which for this year are almost three times higher than in our country, especially for livestock and beekeeping.

Albania remains the only country that did not give a single penny of financial support to the farmer, while taxing him more than any other country in the region.

Therefore, agriculture and farming in our country are in crisis and on the verge of bankruptcy.
