The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has indicated that the criminal lawsuit against the mayor Erion Veliaj for the incinerators will be submitted on Monday.
Basha said that Veliaj is treating garbage at a more expensive price from the study done on this issue by the World Bank.
Basha: “For all three lies of the caterpillar that are made to draw attention from the affair where he and his boss were caught, a criminal lawsuit has been submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office. As for the lie about the villas, the lawsuit for the car has been filed and I want to inform you that the lawsuit for the defamation and the lie he has made about the incinerators will be filed on Monday. “
After the parliamentary elections, the chairman of the Democratic Party said that local justice bodies and specialized structures will trace abroad the money gained from corruption scandals in Albania.
Lulzim Basha: “That money will be found. Like the ones the mafia has pocketed and the ones they both have. There are agencies that will track them down in every corrupt activity of the towers of Tirana where the corruption money of Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj has been poured.”
Speaking to the media from the PD headquarters, the leader of the opposition said that the mayor of Tirana and the prime minister threw in the bin the project of the World Bank to select dubious companies with higher costs.
Lulzim Basha: “The study of the World Bank and the Municipality of Tirana made it possible for the containers to go underground within the Small Ring within a year.
Within 3 years to go underground throughout Tirana and their treatment in Sharra to be done for 12 euros, from 29 euros that this thief makes with others. These are facts that I am convinced that if not today, tomorrow, the Prosecution will consider them, to show what prices the World Bank had prepared, a transparent process for processing in Sharra and at what prices Edi Rama, Arben Ahmetaj and Erion Veliaj ‘s mafia is making them.
They will not escape. Today some media have captured and daily bring out the face of the lie on the screen.
That is not enough. Very soon they will face the Prosecution and the Court with the facts that are inalienable.”
Basha noted that in addition to problems with the procedures followed, owners of incinerator companies that are receiving millions of euros from the state budget also have criminal precedents and connections.
According to Basha, the incinerator scandal is being covered up by using millions of euros taken from Albanian money for propaganda in order to deceive the citizens.
