"Failed To Manage Two Crises This Year", Tabaku Tough With Rama: 2021

Former PD MP Jorida Tabaku through a post has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of failing to manage crises.

According to Tabakut, the 1 billion euro drop in the country's GDP shows that we are in a deep economic crisis and unemployment, while adding that the 2021 Budget does not help citizens.

"Rama failed to manage the two major crises of this year. The government failed to respond in time to the crisis caused by the earthquake, failed to provide adequate human and economic assistance to businesses and citizens throughout the pandemic.

The result is a 1 billion euro drop in the country's GDP and a major crisis in the economy and rising unemployment," Tabaku wrote.

She went on to add that poverty is expected to increase in the country as predicted by the World Bank.

"The 2021 budget is not designed to help citizens. Poverty will increase as the WB has predicted by going to 2005 levels, so Albanians will return to their income 15 years later.

While in this time of crisis where 1 billion euros have been lost from the economy, the Albanian government will give 120 million euros for programmed PPPs, increasing by 40% compared to this year."
