Vetting in politics, debate at the assembly

Since 11 am the Assembly has debated the draft law of the opposition for Vetting in Politics.

Democratic Party deputy, Oerd Bylykbashi filed charges against Prime Minister Edi Rama for having opened the door to the criminal institutions.

During his speech in Parliament, Bylykbashi said the proposed amendments by the opposition close the space to avoid the law on decriminalization.

On the other hand, Socialist Party MP, Ulsi Manja, invited MPs to dismiss the draft law.

“In daily jargon, Venice has said that the jacket of one majority MP cannot be worn by an opposition MP and vice versa even though somebody in this hall can pretend to have similar bodies.

“The intentional parallelism that the opposition is trying to make with Vetting of prosecutors and judges is its failed attempt to crack down on the Constitution guaranteeing the right to free and equal elections since it is the only opportunity to receive the right answer from Venice.

“Not everyone wears the same jacket. Let’s overthrow the opposition's initiative. Mr. Spaho, wait until morning. Between us there is a big mountain and we are not one of the same,” said Ulsi Manja.
