Business loans, Malaj: Informal lending concerning

Business lending is continuing to decline. According to data from the Bank of Albania, it appears to have reached the lowest level since 2013.

Such a situation seems to have been associated with an increase in informal borrowing.

According to Former Finance Minister Arben Malaj, the business is meeting the needs for money in the informal market, and this is very dangerous.

Arben Malaj suggests that business should be addressed to the banking system because in this way they will have a project and a cost that will be managed more fairly.

The problems have already been ascertained in Court confrontations. This year alone saw the court of Tirana with an additional 365 new lawsuits.

Meanwhile the other 270 are dossiers in the previous review. According to court records, 12 of the files continue to be examined at different rates.

There are also 182 files received with the demand for debt return and 210 have been dismissed for lack of documentation.

However, the Bank of Albania hopes to increase lending in the last three months of the year.
