Basha in Durrës: "Dako, a mayor of crime"

The Democratic Party Chair, Lulzim Basha, continued to make charges against the Mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, during a meeting in Durrës. Basha said the time has come for the Democrats, along with their citizen supporters, to bring change to Durrës.

"You cannot make claims to Dako. In fact, Dako did not connect with you. Instead he has linked gangs to his fate in politics. For this reason, in a normal country, he would not be in the Municipality, but had in prison," accused Lulzim Basha.

Basha asked citizens to see the issue of the National Theater not only as a corrupt affair, but as an act against their own freedoms, especially given that Edi Rama disposed of the Constitutional Court and took control of all powers.

"The issue of the National Theater is the struggle to restore the rule of law; the end of the rule of law and the beginning of a crime dictatorship. Today they begin with the Theater, tomorrow it will be your properties and your homes.

"We have reached the end. Because Edi Rama and Vangjush Dako will not stop, if we do not stop them," said Lulzim Basha.

Basha's meeting with the citizens of Durrës coincided with the two anniversary of the adoption of constitutional changes for judicial reform, which, as Basha noted, is a fundamentally destroyed reform.

"Reform in Justice has been destroyed precisely to protect Vangjush Dako, just as this seized justice protects Saimir Tahiri.

"This seized justice protects Arben Ahmetaj and Damian Gjiknuri, whose investigative show nothing but the laundering of crime money with Edi Rama's co-operation and his gang government," said Lulzim Basha.
